The Last Couple Days

We had a great day at Muckleshoot - the local casino - on Friday. I actually came away, up 60.00. I learned a new game called Pai Gow Poker. This is a game that you can play for a very long time, with very little money. Very fun! Since I was doing so well at the slots, I treated my sis to lunch. At one point I was up about 2000 nickles. Not bad starting out on 800. But in the end the Leprechaun kicked my ass. All in all a great time was to be had!

On Saturday we did much sightseeing. Took a tour of Bill Seidel's Underground Seattle Tour. This is a 90 minute walking tour that takes place in the heart of downtown. It is known that a fire destroyed about 30 square city blocks in 1889. They actually raised the street to a height of about 20 feet. I would post pictures, but unfortunately I somehow lost all of my pics from the last day. I have no idea how and I am very upset about this. I think there were about 35 pics from the last day. I'll have to get Kelly to take some more pics of the Real World House for me.

We went to The Ram for dinner on Saturday night and I had the blackened salmon with seasoned rice and steamed broccoli. It was absolutely melt in your mouth delicious. I will certainly order it again.

Sunday it was time to go home. I got up at 7:00 and the plane was supposed to leave at 9:00, but we had to sit for about an hour on the plane, as they did some kind of maintenance check. This of course made me miss my connecting flight in Chicago. When I arrived, I found out the plane had already left. I got another flight that was scheduled to leave at 8:40... then 9:25... then 9:55... and we were finally on our way! I landed at 12:40 am and got home about 1:30 am. What a day. The only downfall on my trip was this flight home.
